Financial Reform Modern Silk Road Resource-rich Canada

[ News & Topics - Financial Reform - 11/05/08 ]

Comment: (Jan 2010) Financial Reform seems to be progressing at a slow rate. Prosperity of the financial institutions has been a proof of the US hegemony, however, it is gradually fading away because of the rise of China, and therefore the US financial institutions would take the same path. Presently the financial institutions in China are scintillating, that is, the ongoing financial reform wouldn't have much strength upon declination of the US financial institutions. Since Asia would hold the major financial power from now on, I presume the financial reform from G7 side would get disoriented eventually.

Comment: (Nov 08) As expected, Sen. Obama has won for the President of the US, and also as I expected, I hope a drastic financial reform should be coming out, since it's really necessary. All investment

banks have disappeared eventually and this means the US financial system has collapsed, which had been very profitable. This simply also means the US must remake it from the basis together with strengthening its reguratory structure. Today is the next day of the election day, and I see some names to rebuild the structure or to renew it completely, who are well-known people like Paul Volcker, Lawrence Summers, Timothy F. Geithner, etc. I am very much interested in these steps since it would be historic and only once in my life.
