~ Long Term Investment Perspective (1 - 10 years) ~

Comment: (Jan 2010) In 2009, all interest rates of G7 went sharply down near zero and gold was highlighted reflecting the unstability of US dollars and the world economy. At the same time, however, in emerging countries, business recovery has already started and it was a typical contrast to G7's. This is coming from a huge stimulus plan in China and fund shift escaping from G7's lowest interest rates. This trend is considered to continue for another year. That is, there is no any change in conditions from the last year. The lowest interest rates still continues in G7 and it would take a few year to rewind them into normal state. Accordingly, money shift from G7 to emerging countries would last for this year, and therefore investment into emerging markets and related fields, such as natural resources and agriculture, are picked

up as safer investment fields. Given that population in China plus India exceeds 2 billion, it is overwhelmingly affecting on our investment strategy comparing with the times when Japan and Germany entered in group of the advanced countries in many years ago.
